Our 3rd and 4th graders performed a variety of songs at their musical showcase this week, under the direction of music teachers Theresa Perez and Barbara Vazquez Vazquez, for their families. On April 18, London Towne Elementary School’s Spanish Immersion students arrived at Westfield High School to meet mentors from the Spanish Honor Society who had been their pen pals.

It was a busy month around the Towne! Many families created stations of cultural artifacts to share food, clothing, and artwork from their heritage. 6th grade researchers designed Google sites to teach 4th graders and other visitors about severe weather and collaboration was happening everywhere you look!

Salad bars have been paused during the COVID-19 pandemic. Students are excited to explore the new healthy options.
