KIndergarteners enjoyed a visit from Otto the Auto, an ambassador from AAA Mid-Atlantic, this week!

Standing three feet tall, the remote-controlled talking vehicle can blink his eyes, turn on his headlights, and spin in circles while engaging children in fun and memorable traffic safety activities.

Otto teaches children the importance of buckling up, wearing bicycle helmets and looking all ways before crossing the street.

Otto’s voice is provided by an out-of-sight operator using a headset which allows them to hear everything around Otto. The success of this program is attributed to the innovative way in which Otto presents safety awareness. It is a lively, upbeat presentation, mesmerizing children and leaving behind many great memories about safety.

At the end of the presentation, each class got their picture taken with Otto!
