Summer Continuity of Learning Opportunities

FCPS school buildings will remain closed through the end of July. Therefore, we will continue to provide recommended distance learning opportunities for students throughout the summer.

iReady Digital Lessons / Lecciones Digitales de iReady

Students will have access to skill practice through the iReady digital lessons through the FCPS public Universal Screener website. Students will need to enter their FCPS login credentials to access these resources. These digital activities will be available until Friday, July 31st. 

Todos los estudiantes tienen acceso a lecciones digitales de iReady para practicar sus destreza durante el verano en el  FCPS public Universal Screener website.  Hay que iniciar sesion con su nombre de usuario y contrasena de FCPS.  Estas actividades seran disponibles hasta el 31 de julio. 

Math and Language Arts Summer Practice Book 

Additionally, students currently in grades K-6 will receive both a Mathematics and a Language Arts Essentials Summer Practice Book in the mail by the end of June. Digital versions of the books will also be posted on the Continuity of Learning Blackboard page. These books will provide recommended practice activities for students to review essential content from the 2019-2020 school year; they are not intended to preview content from next year’s grade level.

Todos los estudiantes en grados K-6 van a recibir un libro de practica para matematicas y lenguaje por correo antes del final de junio.  Versiones digitales de los libros seran disponibles en el Continuity of Learning Blackboard page. Estos libros proveen practica adicional para que los estudiantes puedan revisar contenido del ano escolar 2019-20; no tienen contenido para el ano escolar siguiente.

Connecting with Teachers Virtually on Blackboard Collaborate

Our outstanding LTES Teachers are looking forward to staying connected with you via Blackboard Collaborate Ultra (BbCU), FCPS's video conferencing app, this summer!  Please see below for the schedule of when teachers will be interacting with students.  To enter BbCU sessions, log into Blackboard 24-7 (fcps.blackboard.com) on a computer, iPad, or phone, go to our London Towne Lions course and click on the blue "Collaborate Ultra" button.  Then search for your teacher's name and click on the session to enter at the designated time!  

Nuestros maestros magnificos de LTES estan anticipando mantenerse conectados con ustedes por medio videoconferencias usando la aplicacion Blackboard Collaborate Ultra (BbCU) de FCPS, este verano!  Por favor, revise el horario en la parte de abajo con las horas que los maestros estaran interactuando con sus estudiantes y familias.  Para entrar en las clases de BbCU, inicie sesion en Blackboard 24-7 (fcps.blackboard.com) en una computadora, iPad, o telefono, vaya al curso de London Towne Lions y haga clic en el boton azul "Collaborate Ultra."  Luego, busque el nombre de su maestro/a y haga clic en la sesion para entrar a la hora indicada!
